ABOUT US
When I became pregnant, I was so ecstatic, delighted, excited, no words could explain how happy I was. However being a first-time mammy and not sure what to do next, these emotions soon enough changed to anxiety, stress and being overwhelmed!
I have a fear of the unknown which meant I needed to get as much information as possible to be prepared for the next phase of my life. When I started researching, I found that the internet was overflowing with information which was so daunting, especially if you’re first time pregnant.
Despite this, I felt the internet was not of much help to me in following areas:
- I always wished for a website that would give me concise info on everything for new parents.
- I also noticed that there was no proper product comparison page to give information on websites offering the best deals on baby essentials. (I am a smart person who always keeps looking out for better deals.)
- All information was about pregnancy or baby. There’s limited info on post-partum recovery and trimester 4.
- Lack of baby led weaning recipes with finger food and Indian recipes which includes spices that helps build immunity in babies.
- Lack of gentle parenting advice backed up by science and psychology

Post-Partum – My Experience
When someone asks me if childbirth was the toughest part of being pregnant, I tell them, childbirth was the easiest, post-partum was the toughest for me.
Physical health
If you had an episiotomy, make sure you are recovering well. Take plenty of rest, Let the stiches air dry. You can even use witch haze water every time you use toilet after cleaning the area with water, you can even add to the maternity pads.
Postpartum Mental Health
Mental health is something that people do not discuss much but post pregnancy it is quite common for mothers to experience postnatal depression and at times women can experience it during pregnancy too.
