Dosa/Rice and Lentils Pancake

Ingredients:

 1 cup Basmati Rice
  cup Urid Dal
 1 tbsp Fenugreek Seeds
 1 tbsp Flat Rice (Optional)
 Ghee (as much you need (usually ½ tsp per pancake or dosa)
 Salt and pepper (as per your taste)

Directions:

In a bowl, add rice to it, wash it properly and add boiling water and soak for 3-4 hours

In a separate bowl, add dal (lentils) and fenugreek seeds to it, wash it properly and add boiling water and soak for 3-4 hours

We are meant to blend these soaked rice and lentils but 30 minutes before you need to blend add flat rice to the soaked lentils and fenugreek seeds bowl

Wash the rice before blending. Add 1/3 to 1/2cup of water with the rice to blend it into smooth paste. It does not need much water for blending rice.

Then wash the lentils, fenugreek seeds and flat rice, add 1/2 cup of water into blender and blend into a smooth paste.

Add this mixture to the container with rice paste and mix it well. Make sure the paste is not too runny or too thick.

Close the container tightly and leave it out for overnight (not in a cool pace).

Then next day (cock-a-doodle-doo) your batter is ready. You can store in fridge for 3-4 days and use as you require.

Open the lid and mix it well.
